About Ian Michelman

I’m a Northern Virginia-based commercial photographer specializing in residential interiors and architectural photography for interior designers, architects, builders, and home and hospitality brands. My work is heavily influenced by my love for beautiful spaces and rooted in my technical understanding of composition, light, and shadows. I partner closely with my clients to plan and produce imagery that is purposeful, well-positioned for editorial, and above all, damn interesting to look at.

When I don’t have a camera in hand, I’m likely lovin’ on my wife, son, and dog-hter (Carina, Auggie, and Luna), sipping on a cold brew coffee, tackling home projects, or all of the above.
